xShellz is an independent software company building always-on connectivity for real-time chat. We started in 2009 hosting shells and IRC bouncers, and over more than fifteen years we have grown into a full platform: persistent connectors across 17 networks, a premium web chat, and Turborg, our AI agent that works your channels while you are away. The intelligence is the new part. The infrastructure underneath has kept people online for well over a decade.

What we do

We run the boring, critical parts of staying connected so you do not have to. No VPS to rent, no bouncer to configure, no uptime to babysit. You keep your nick, your channels and your backlog. • Free should be genuinely useful. The free tier is a real turborg, not a teaser: 7 days always-on to start, then free for good with a 4h idle pause. Want it online around the clock? That starts at Starter.
• Your session is yours. Isolated runtimes, SASL and TLS, no shared state.
• Honest pricing. Flat monthly plans, no setup fees, cancel anytime.
• Here for the long haul. We have run IRC infrastructure since 2009. The modern AI features sit on top of a foundation that is already proven, not a weekend project.
• Built in the open. Turborg is open source on GitHub and we contribute back constantly. We host a managed, always-on instance so you do not have to.

Built to be trusted

Security is not an afterthought. Every session runs in an isolated runtime with SASL authentication and TLS upstreams by default. Connector credentials are encrypted at rest, accounts support multi-factor authentication, and you can review and revoke signed-in devices at any time. We operate transparently, cooperate with networks on abuse, and comply with valid legal process, as set out in our Acceptable Use Policy and Privacy Policy.

xShellz is an established, independent technology company. We have operated continuously since 2009, growing from a bouncer host into a full real-time communication platform trusted by communities and professionals around the world. Longevity is the point. When you build on xShellz you build on a company that has kept its services online for more than a decade and intends to for the next one.

We are remote-first, with our team working across the United States and the European Union, close to the customers we serve on both sides of the Atlantic. We run the whole platform ourselves, from the always-on infrastructure to the AI layer on top, so the experience stays fast, secure and accountable to a single team rather than a chain of vendors.

We are GDPR compliant. If you ask us to remove your data, we honor that right to erasure and delete your personal data from our active systems.
