Refund Policy

Last update of policy: June 11, 2026. This policy was written in English (US) and applies to every country whose citizens use our website.

At xShellz we want you to be happy with your subscription. Refunds are built to be fast and mostly self-service. Where you are eligible, you can cancel and get your money back directly from your account dashboard, without waiting on an email.

1. 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on every subscription payment, including renewals. If you cancel within fourteen (14) days of a charge, you are entitled to a full refund of that payment, no questions asked. This reflects, and does not limit, any statutory right of withdrawal you may have.

2. Self-Service Cancellation & Refunds

You can manage your subscription at any time from Billing in your account dashboard, with no need to contact us. When you cancel, you choose how it takes effect:

  • Cancel at the end of your billing period. This option is always available. You keep full access until your current period ends and are not billed again. No refund is issued, since you keep the time you have already paid for.
  • Cancel immediately and refund. This drops you to the Free plan right away and returns money to your original payment method:
    • Within the 14-day window above, you receive a full refund of your most recent payment.
    • On a monthly plan after 14 days, you receive a prorated refund for the unused part of the current month.
    • On an annual plan after 14 days, immediate refunds are not available. Annual plans cancel at the end of the billing period, as the annual discount is the trade-off for the yearly commitment. You can still cancel at period end at any time.

The dashboard shows your exact eligibility and the refund amount before you confirm.

3. Additional Refunds

Your first self-service immediate refund in any 12-month period is processed instantly from the dashboard. If you need a further refund within that same 12 months, the instant option is replaced with a quick support step. Contact us and we will review the request manually. This limit exists only to prevent repeated subscribe-and-refund abuse. Genuine cases are always honored, and you can cancel at the end of your billing period as often as you like.

All payments and refunds are handled by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method and are typically processed within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer. Refunds initiated from the dashboard usually appear within 1 to 3 business days.
